Mike Liggins of BBC Look East was at the Well Creek, Aquaduct Bridge, filming an article on the Police and Environment Agency partnership. The partnership just want to highlight how at risk fishing tackle and equipment can be, if left unattended and that it is illegal to take home any fish that might have been caught.
Al Thompson of the environment agency said that they do have an incident line should anybody see fish being taken or any other incidents of people breaking the law. This includes anybody speeding on the creek at over 4mph.
The incident hotline is: 0800 80 70 60. This is a 24 hour service.
On a brighter note here are some photos from that day very kindly donated by Mike Liggins.
