Please note the WCT has received confirmation from the Middle Level Commission that the Salters Lode lock gates will be out of action from the 5th January 2015 to 27th March 2015, while they carry out engineering works to replace them. The water level in that area during the above period of the maintenance work will be lower than usual and will not be navigable.
