The Trust is currently creating new style local history stops at each of the moorings.
Each mooring will have an QR code, so that boaters, fishermen and visitors to the area can get a brief summary of history that surrounds the mooring. All that will be required will be a smart mobile phone with a camera. Just simply open the camera app and point it at the QR code, but don’t press the button. The scanner in the phone camera will recognise the QR code and automatically display a tab, simply select it and the phone will automatically display photos and a little text with the history of the area.
