After a lot of hard work from Bill Smith the founder of the Memento project, liaising with the planning department at the Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council the mementos for phase 4 at Boyce’s Bridge (Birds Corner) and Phase 5 located outside B&Q Wisbech were finally unveiled on the 4th November 2023 and 30th December 2023 respectively.
Bill expressed his gratitude with all the people who kindly donated funds to meet the cost of the mementos and of course all the people that helped him with their construction and the artistic work.
The final phase (6) will hopefully be completed in 2024 where Bill will be liaising with a different borough council as the memento will be located in the Fenland Town of Wisbech, which is in the county of Cambridgeshire.
We would like to wish Bill good luck for 2024 when hopefully the memento project will be completed.
